Slim Fit
Amicci Slim Fit Jeans: Tapered, Not Tight
Slim fit is the closest cut in the range, tapering from the thigh down to a neat ankle without gripping anywhere. There is a real difference between slim and skinny, and this is firmly the first one: the leg follows a natural line rather than shrink-wrapping it, so you can sit down for a full working day without thinking about your jeans once.
It is the most versatile pair in the collection for anyone who wears denim to work as well as at the weekend. A slim leg keeps a clean line under a longer coat, stays tidy over a low trainer or a smarter shoe, and does not need a specific top to look right. If you want more room without going wide, straight fit is the next step up.
Sizing And Fabric
Take your normal waist. There is enough stretch in the denim that the fit stays comfortable through the day, and that stretch is there for movement rather than to let a smaller size fasten. Inside leg sits at a standard break, so a slim pair should just touch the top of the shoe with no gathering at the ankle.
Wash cold and inside out and line dry. Stretch denim is the fabric most affected by tumble drying, because heat is what breaks down the elastane that gives the jean its recovery, and a pair that has lost its recovery never sits the same again. Selected pairs are in the 30% off running on site, and UK orders ship free. The full Amicci jeans range covers every other shape.
Every product page lists its own waist and inside leg measurements, and comparing those against a pair you already wear is quicker and far more accurate than guessing from a label.
