Straight Fit
Amicci Straight Fit Jeans: The Safe Place To Start
Straight fit runs in one clean line from the knee to the hem, with no taper and no flare. It is the most neutral shape in the range and the pair we point people towards first, because it suits almost every build and it tells you quickly which direction to go next. If a straight leg feels narrow, go wider; if it feels like too much fabric at the ankle, go closer.
It is also the least demanding jean to style. A straight leg works over a low trainer and over a boot, under a coat and with nothing over it at all, and it does not need a particular top to look right. That flexibility is why it stays in rotation long after a trend-led shape has been pushed to the back of the wardrobe.
Sizing And Wear
Take your normal waist and your normal inside leg. Unlike stacked fit or flare fit, straight denim is not cut long on purpose, so it should sit with a small break at the top of the shoe. Between sizes with a little stretch in the fabric, take the smaller waist; with rigid denim, take the larger.
Wash cold, inside out, and only when the jeans need it rather than on a schedule. Heat is what turns a black pair grey, so line drying does more for the colour than any detergent. Selected pairs sit in the 30% off applied on site, with no code needed, and every UK order ships free. The rest of the range is in Amicci jeans.
